Yakhmar Raid

Preferred classes and desired number:
• 2 Main Tanks (Guardian/Dark Templar)
• 4 Off Tanks (Dark Templar/Conqueror)
• 2 Necromancers
• 2 Rangers
• 2 Demonologists
• 6 Healers (Tempest of Set/Bear Shaman/Priest of Mitra)
• 6 Random DPS (Barbarian/Assassin/Herald of Xotli/Casters/”DPS specc” Soldiers)

Main Tank (MT) Group:
• Main Tank’s charge Yakhmar and swap on keeping aggro as needed
• 2 or 3 healers in group, keeps tanks up and alive
• Conqueror aid on DPS and to keep Furious Inspiration at maximum level

DPS on Yakhmar:
• 2 Necromancers do constant AOE damage, aid pulling adds down to core DPS
• Rangers do ranged DPS when no adds around. Aid pulling adds down to core DPS and use their CC on them
• If desired (and DPS control the spawns with breeze), raid leader might call an Assassin to go under the belly of Yakhmar to do increased DPS on the boss. This is also important if ever a Necromancer(s) dies

Core DPS group (adds only):
• Stack up! –stay tight at all times, rooted to the spot. This ensure massive damage on all the adds brought into DPS group and secure constant healing on entire group
• Soldiers in front, protect the clothed classes and take aggro from the Necro/Ranger that bring adds from MT group into core DPS.

Key to success:
• Never do fire damage to Yakhmar, everyone doing damage –or are in group with anyone doing damage to the boss, have to remove any equipment, armour, weapons and buff’s that adds fire damage.
• Use all your Crowd Control (CC) on the adds as they spawn
• Ranger measure distance to Yakhmar to avoid massive stun on raid, no one pass this line unless instructed to.
